You can say whatever you want about The Blind Banker, but Sherlock’s beauty is outstanding in this episode :)
In the commentary for ASiB, Benedict says the following about the scene with the naked Irene Adler:
"I do love that the moment, the only moment that he verbally stumbles- and I sort of did it deliberately, was because I sensed a bit of competition in Watson starting to…
sherlock’s parents probably keep this big folder full of articles about sherlock and john and they write cute paragraphs next to it so they can give it to them when they finally get married
Benedict/Martin + Laughing on the set of ‘Sherlock’
"We laugh a lot - a hell of a lot - and we work very hard, and then we laugh very hard, and then we work hard, and then we laugh hard. I mean, it’s genuinely good fun."
You know what just occurred to me? Sherlock always noticed the way John walked. He took that in. He was always watching him, taking in and remembering all the little quirks that make John, John. He really does know every single little thing about John. He noticed how he walks, for gods sake. Because to Sherlock there’s not a single thing about John that’s not worth memorising. That’s breaking my heart right now.
The horrifying moment when you look around for an adult and realize you are one.
